Stamp N’ Hop-Easter Box

Posted on

Welcome to this month’s Stamp n’ Hop. If you are hopping along then you’ve just visited Tracy Marie Lewis. The theme this month is Easter. I’ve made an Easter hinged box and notecard to give away some goodies! I used the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies with the gorgeous Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets that are no longer available in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. This is a perfect idea to use it up if you were lucky enough to get it before it became unavailable. Everything in the Sale-A-Bration catalog is While Supplies Last so if you see something you have to have, get it! Everything is going so fast this year.

I also used the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on this set. This paper is my absolute favorite. It has beautiful colors in it and goes with all the seasons. This paper is still available for FREE in the SaleABration Catalog with a $50 order or as a bundle with a stamp set with a $100 order.

All of the butterflys are die cut from the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. I used the Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sheets for the small ones so they would be easy to adhere.

I made the hinge box using one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch Grapefruit Grove cardstock and the Simply Scored board. I scored it at 1″ on all sides and then at the 5″ and 6″ marks on the 11 inch side. I think it’s a nice size box to give some treats or even a gift in for Easter.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Thank you for joining us on this hop. Next up is Cheryl Taylor. I know you will love her inspiration.

See you next time,

Jenn

Global Stamping Friends-Step it Up Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we are Stepping It Up! Stampin’ Up! is bringing back simple stamping and we are showing you how you can start simple and make it more advanced. I have used the stamp set Beautiful You to make my 3 cards.

For my simple card, I used the stamp set, ink, and just one strip of designer series paper onto a white card.
For my 2nd stepped up version I added layers and paper pieced a dress onto her using the same designer series paper.
For my final stepped up version, I added an embossed layer, ribbon and popped the girl and sentiment up with dimensionals after cutting them with square die cuts. I colored her using the Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for joining us on our hop today. I hope I inspired you to stamp simply or to step it up! The list of products I used are at the bottom of the post. Next up is Lisa Ann Bernard. Her projects are always beautiful.

Scrapbooking Love & Marriage

Welcome to this month’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. You are visiting Jenn with BFF Stampers. The theme February is All About Love and Marriage. This is my first month participating and I can’t wait to see what everyone else has to share. Be sure to hop along and leave some love for your favorites or most inspiring posts.

I have been scrapbooking pictures from my daughter and her boyfriend because they are so cute! I just can’t stop. This page is no different. I can’t get enough of the All My Love designer series paper. It’s so pretty! I cut a lot of squares using the Stitched Framelits and pieced them as a background. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

Thank you for stopping by this blog hop. Next up is Denise. I’m sure she has something fabulous to share with us today. For a complete list of everyone participating, scroll to the bottom of this post.

Stamp N’ Hop – All about Love

February is the month of Love!

1 John 4:19…We love because He first loved us.
How amazing is this! God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life!

I can not talk about the month of love without talking about the love that God has for us. I love this sampler that was inspired by Ronda Wade in her Creating for Christ Facebook Page.

This Valentine paper is so beautiful! I printed the verses from the Creating for Christ page. I will be having a class with this sampler on Sunday, the 17th. I know it’s after Valentine’s Day but this reminder of God’s love will be hanging up year round at my house.

I also wanted to share a tool from our catalog that has been in there and I’ve owned but had only just recently used. They are the Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sheets. Sticky sheets that you stick your cardstock on and run through the Big Shot so that all the thin die cuts are easy to adhere (like a sticker) to your page without getting glue everywhere! I heart them.

I die cut the hearts from whisper white, crumb cake and lovely lipstick cardstock and poked them out carefully so the hearts were easy to stick back in the spots that they go. And the backing of the adhesive sheet was easy to peel right off like in the picture below.

Not only did I use it in one of the squares in my sampler, but I also made two cards using the other two cut outs and extra hearts. I love how they turned out. Perfect to send to my mom and stepmom for Valentine’s Day. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Day Stamp set and I stamped it in Lovely Lipstick.

Thank you for hopping along with us today. If you have any questions about my faith or my project, please contact me! I’d love to hear from you. All of the products are listed below. Next up is Rebecca-Jo Unwin.
