CTC226 – CASEing the 2019 Occasions Catalog

Posted on

I love a fun challenge! There is a monthly Facebook challenge every Sunday called CASEing the Catty. CASE means Copy And Share Everything! They tell you what catalog or what suite to case and you make whatever you want! I needed to create a birthday card for a good friend of mine so I decided to participate in this challenge while I’m at it. You can join along on their Facebook page at CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge.

Today’s challenge was to CASE anything from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I’ve decided to use the Climbing Roses Bundle. I got this bundle and just haven’t used it like I wanted to and now it will be retiring. So, I’m CASEing the card above that has the I thought of you today sentiment. I created it pretty much the same but with different colors.

I hope you like what I’ve come up with and I hope you give the Sunday Challenge a try yourself.

Below is a list of the products that I’ve used.

Your BFF,
Jenn

Scrapbooking Global April 2019 Blog Hop – Flowers

Posted on

Welcome to April’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. Our guest designer this month is Mariejosee Gagnon and she has chosen the theme Flowers or Spring! Stampin’ Up! has the most beautiful stamp sets with flowers in them so I’m excited about the theme.

Here is my little town in San Diego, California, we rarely get rain and springs of water but this year we got many. My kids had a blast playing in the little river that was running below the park. I thought these photos were perfect for a Spring scrapbook page.

I used a new designer series paper called Perennial Essence that is due to be released with the upcoming catalog on June 4th. The beautiful flowered papers are hand-Painted. Isn’t it wonderful?

Thank you for joining us this month for the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. Next up is Liz Yuille. I can’t wait to see what she has made for us. You can click the Next Button below or scroll to the end and see a list of everyone.

Extra Ordinary Blog Hop – GSF

Posted on

Welcome to an extra edition of the Global Stamping Friends blog hop. I’m here to give you a sneak peek of what I did at OnStage and also show you a stamp set that I think many of you will want to get your hands on. It’s called Daisy Lane and it already has a coordinating punch that I own so I love that already. It will also have another punch to go with it to make gorgeous designs. Have I intrigued you?

I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral and the stems in Mossy Meadow. Then I used my Wink of Stella to blend the inks to make them look colored in and to give it a little sparkle of course!
I’m very sad to say that this Wood Textures DSP is retiring. If it’s something you think you need (of course we all do!) then I suggest getting it as soon as you can because it’s only available while supplies last.
I used a couple other new products. Here’s a new label punch called Timeless Label that I got as a gift for attending CentreStage. I’ve added some Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo pack. I love it!

Here are the make n’ takes we got to make at OnStage. It’s so fun getting to play with a few of the new products and bring the samples home to show you.

The brown card with the nest that says Hugs for you is a card that will be coming out of Shelli’s Paper Pumpkin for the month of May. Isn’t it beautiful?

Don’t you just love that Stampin’ Up! brought out a new stamp set that goes with a punch most of us already own? I hope you were inspired by my card today. The products that you can purchase today are linked down below. The rest will be available on June 4th unless you want to Join Team BFF and buy from the new catalog starting May 1st with a 20% discount! I love the benefits of being a demonstrator!

Thank you so much for joining us on this impromptu blog hop. Next up is Tricia. I can’t wait to see what she’s come up with!

Stamp N’ Hop – Let’s get Girly!

Posted on

Welcome to another round of the Stamp N’ Hop Blog Hop! This month our theme is ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS! I’ve gotta say that girl cards are almost the only thing I make around here. A real challenge for me would be a Manly card. I can’t make one of those to save my life!

When this blog hop goes live I will be up in the air flying to Utah for OnStage. OnStage is Stampin’ Up!’s version of convention where all of us demonstators get together in remote locations around the globe and see and learn all new stuff! I am so excited! I will have lots of fun stuff to share with you when I get back. You can follow along on my Instagram page @bffstampers to see some sneak peeks!

Anyway….back to the blog hop…

My friend asked me to make some invitations for a Surprise Party she was having for her mom’s birthday. She said she likes purples and pinks. Perfectly girly in my opinion 🙂 What do you think?

I printed all the words.

Thank you so much for joining us this month. Next up is Pia Gerhardt. Hop along to everyone to get all the girly inspiration.
