Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop – My Favorite Season

Welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop for the month of September. You are visiting Jenn Charles and I am excited to share this month’s theme with you. The theme is My Favorite Season and my favorite season is Fall. I love everything about Fall. The cooler weather, the colors, the smells and most of all, the holidays! Last year in the fall I got to take a trip to the mountains of North Carolina. I fell in LOVE! Like, so deeply in love, I’m moving there someday. Trying to convince my hubby while slowly packing, type of plans going on over here…hahaha. Until then, California fall it is. Here it’s not so much the leaves turning colors or the weather getting cooler (at least not yet) but there are some beautiful sunflowers and I’ve already seen the fields full of pumpkins.

I pulled out my fall decorations for this photo shoot and I’m gonna keep them out even though it’s still 92 degrees outside. I paper pieced a little pumpkin together because my punched pumpkin was too big. I got those stitched ovals from the Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies. They are little tags in the set and they were the perfect size for my pumpkin.

I heat embossed all of the sunflowers and the leaves in gold embossing powder. I love the texture it brought to the flowers. Then I colored them with a few different blends. I have a list of all the products I used down below.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hop you can use the link list below and hop around to everyone’s posts. Don’t forget to leave a little love!

Stamp N’ Hop – Holiday Mini Catalog

Welcome to this month’s Stamp N Hop blog Hop. You are visiting Jenn Charles and the theme is showcasing the Mini Holiday Catalog.

Today I decided to show you the magnificent Snowflake Wishes Bundle. I cut the snowflakes out using the foam adhesive to make them pop out better. I did a watercolor wash on shimmery white cardstock for a little bit of a shine. It’s hard to tell in the picture.

I added women pearls for that extra bling. Thank you for hopping along with us today. Up next is Jo Blackman.

Global Stamping Friends – Fancy Fold Cards

Welcome to another month of Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we are all about Fancy Folds which is perfect because this month I have a Fancy Fold online class To-Go. The card I made today will be one of the cards we are making in the class.

I had never made this fold before and saw it done with the ornate frames which was gorgeous but I don’t have yet. So I did it with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love these dies and use them all the time.

This card is actually pretty easy to make. It’s just a few score marks and then layers but the effect of the fold is awesome.

Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock: 11 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, 7, and 9 3/4
and two die cut pieces
Whisper White Cardstock: 2 1/2 x 5 1/4
Designer Series Paper: 1 x 5 1/4 (2 of these), 2 1/2 x 5 1/4, 4 x 5 1/4

Everything I used is in links below. I have upcoming online classes with links and you must check out the new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. It’s finally available!
