Share It Sunday

Welcome to this month’s Share It Sunday Blog Hop. I thought I’d share the card I made for my team card swap and as thank you cards for my customers this month.

The theme for the card swap was color blending. I used sponge daubers to blend the Highland Heather ink onto the middle of these flowers. I hand cut the flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper. The sentiment comes from a FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Heal Your Heart. Today is the last day to earn any Sale-A-Bration rewards!

I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush to splash some ink across the Basic White to give it a little background color. I put some Wink of Stella on the flowers also but it was hard to show in the picture.

Thank you for supporting me and my small business. March is my birthday month so keep an eye out for an email letting you know about my birthday special for the month of March.

What are you working on this week? Hop along to all the participants and see what everyone’s making.
Your BFF,
Jenn

Spring is Coming!

Welcome to the Spring Blog Hop with the Crafty Collaborations. With the crazy weather the way it’s been, I have no idea when Spring will really get here. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy hopping along with us today to see what you have to look forward too soon!

When I think of spring, I think of gardens, so I had to use our Sweet Strawberry Bundle to make my card today. I punched my strawberries right from the designer series paper that coordinates. It is available from the SAB brochure until the end of this month.

I used a piece of Basic White cardstock and blended So Saffron ink onto it to make it the lighter yellow. Then I stamped the vine image all along the edges in full strength So Saffron. To make the stitched rectangle longer, I cut out two and layered them on top of one another.

I also entered this card into a couple of other challenges. The TGIF Challenge this week was a sketch. You can click on the picture to participate.

#TGIFC303 Sketch Challenge

I also challenged myself in using Yellow, the Free Space and Gingham on my card to participate in the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. This was very hard but it turned out great. What do you think? You ready to go challenge yourself? Click on the picture to participate and step out of your comfort zone.

All of the products I used today are listed below the list of participants.

Thank you for joining us today. If you are in freezing temps today, I hope some of these projects will warm you up! Keep hopping along for more springtime inspiration.

Your BFF,
Jenn

Colour Combo Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop for February. You are visiting Jenn Charles and I’m excited to have you here. I had a lot of fun this month playing with these colors and with a new stamp set I hadn’t used yet, Art Gallery.

Included in this suite is Gilded Leafing Embellishment. It’s a little tricky to use but once you practice, you can create the most gorgeous cards. I think it’s looks great with the three colors for this month’s challenge.

I even did some on the inside because it’s fun! Like I said, once you get the hang of it, it’s easy and you want to Leaf everything!

Thank you for stopping by. Up next is Kathrin Fuchs. Click the Next button below and continue hopping along for more color inspiration.

This month’s Paper Pumpkin is nature inspired and encouraging. It comes with a FREE stencil set and sponge. Click on the picture to subscribe by March 10th.
The Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles are a fun addition to your stamp collection. The stamp sets come with coordinating dies. Click the photo above to check them out.

Stamp ‘N Hop – Color Challenge!

Welcome to February’s Stamp ‘n Hop. You are visiting Jenn Charles and this month our them is a Color Challenge. I’ve been participating in a monthly color challenge blog hop now for a few months and they always stump me! I set the colored cardstock out on my desk and it sits there all month. I figure if I put it out there it will give me some inspiration, but it rarely happens and I just end up throwing something together. I’m not even very good at matching my clothes 🤣

The three colors above were a perfect match for the Berry Delightful DSP that you can get for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. This month is the last month to earn SAB products.

One of my favorite techniques is heat embossing white on Crumb Cake cardstock and coloring with my watercolor pencils. I used a Wink of Stella glitter pen to watercolor with. It’s hard to see the glitter, but it’s there. I also heat embossed white for the sentiment onto a piece of vellum. I love how you can still see the stamping through the sentiment piece.

I hope you found inspiration in my card using these colors. Up Next is Cheryl Taylor. Click on the Next button to hop on over to her blog. Don’t forget to leave everyone some love. We appreciate hearing from you!
