Stamp ‘N Hop – CASE Yo’Self!

Posted on

Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is all about CASE’ing. Not just CASE’ing anyone, but CASE’ing ourselves! I’ve been pulling out old scrapbook pages to CASE for my scrapbook club so when I saw this month’s theme, I thought perfect! I went back into my archives and revived a past post. You have just arrived from Pia. You are currently visiting Jenn Charles from USA. Thank you for stopping by.

Reading through all of my old posts really took me back to when I first started my blog. Not much has changed in my style. I still love plain and I still love the blues that Stampin’ Up! provides…especially Bermuda Bay. The difference I have noticed is that I add a lot more layers now. Here is the card I chose to CASE. I loved this stamp set. I do believe I still have it somewhere around here collecting dust!

It’s pretty cute, right? I’m not really sure why I put that gorgeous glitter star on there as an embellishment except that maybe it represented Converse? Anyway, if you click on the photo, it will take you all the way back to January 2018.

Today, I’ve decided to case the whole card using the newest snowman suite called Let It Snow. The blue in this suite is Coastal Cabana and it’s my new favorite! I love the Real Red in this designer paper. The Real Red layers really help it POP!

Once again, thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that you have found inspiration to CASE one of your own projects. Please click on the Next Arrow to hop along with the rest of us. Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a little love.

Up Next is Annette Ball. I can’t wait to see what she has created for us.

GSF Blog Hop – Trick or TREATS!

Posted on

Welcome to October’s Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. You are visiting Jenn Charles from the USA. Today’s theme is Treat Holders! My littles and I like to give treats out to the teachers, their friends, family and our Awana groups! Of course it would be nice if everything were different but who has time for that? The holder I made today is simple to put together but easy enough to change up to make it look different enough for everyone to feel special.

My kids are at the ages where everything is hilarious. Even my daughter tells dad jokes. I never noticed before but a lot of food has jokes on it. Popsicle sticks, oatmeal packets and of course Laffy Taffy. I decided to make a treat holder for these funny treats. A couple banana ones didn’t make it because they are my faves!

I made them to fit two because you can never have too many laughs (or candy, let’s be real)!

You can see on the orange one that I used one piece of dsp to wrap around the bottom. On the next photo you can see that I used 4 small piece of cardstock to decorate. You can do either way and I’ve added both dimensions below.

I hope you enjoyed my treat boxes. I have the dimensions at the end of the post.

Let me just leave you with this:
-What was the judge’s drink order?……..Just-ice!
-Why did the fungus downsize?…….There was too mush-room.
-I need to fix my pen………..Do you have any TIPS?
-How can you tell if a shop is new?…….No store-age!
My kids are cracking up! Hope you got some new jokes to tell someone later. Laughter is definitely the best medicine!

Thank you for hopping along with us. Next up is Rachel Macleod. Please take the time to leave a comment for the participants. They love to hear what you think! Have a fantastic Halloween!

Global Scrapbooking Blog HOP-What Little Boys are Made of

Posted on

Welcome to this month’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. You are visiting Jenn Charles. Our theme this month is What little boys are made of and it was so fun!

After having three calmer daughters, my son seems like a tornado! He’s a handful who is constantly bored and wanting to do something, anything, at all times. From riding bikes to cuddling, he does everything with such a passion. He is also a lover of Jesus Christ. He’s the first to pray in times of fear or trouble and always gives thanks for the good stuff. I am very blessed.

If you know me then you know I love the wood grain papers. This one is in the holiday catalog in the fall paper. The designer series paper is called Come tin gather. The colors are gorgeous! The gears and hearts are perfect for this little boy.

Thank you so much for hopping along with us this month. Up next is Heike.

Stamp ‘N Hop – Designer Series Paper Showcase!

Posted on

Welcome to this month’s hop! If you are hopping along then you have just come from Linda and now you are visiting Jenn! For this month’s hop, we got to choose our favorite stamp set or designer series paper. I am so excited to show you the Specialty Designer Series Paper called Let It Snow. I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite in the Holiday Catalog. And as you can guess, it has snowmen! Oh, and the glitter!

This snowman suite is called the Let It Snow Bundle. It has a punch that coordinates and punches out some of the snowmen from the paper. There’s also an embellishment kit that has scarves, mittens, and even carrot noses!

I used the stamp set that comes in the suite to make my card. I like this layout because it showcases a lot of the designer series paper.

Look at those snowmen on that DSP. Happy happy snowmen! They make me happy just looking at them.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Next up is Anastasia Radloff. I can’t wait to see what she has created for us today.
