Fun Fold Technique Tuesday!

Thank you for joining me with this month’s Technique Tuesday blog hop. This month’s technique are Fun Folds. I’ve got a few fun folds that I’ve been wanting to try lately so this is a perfect time to do it. Do you have a go-to fun fold that you like?

I had a color challenge that had Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate. I didn’t have any dsp that would match the colors I needed so I colored a sheet from the Zoo Crew designer series paper using Stampin’ Blends. I also didn’t have Lemon Lime Twist ink so I stamped off using Parakeet Party. I think it matched nicely.

I really like the Layering Leaves stamp set. The fact that it has a coordinating punch makes it very appealing on lazy craft days like today.

I’ve learned how to make this fun fold card from Rose Coleman. She made the cutest hanging monkey cards and the monkeys were swinging back and forth. On my card, I had to do a little alteration to get the circle spinner to fit inside the card when folded. Sometimes fun folds are tricky! You gotta be smarter than the cards 🤣🤣

The cardstock on the inside is 8×5 inches scored on the 8” side at 2,4, and 6 inches.

Thank you for joining us on our hop today. I hope you found some inspiration in this cute fun fold card. Up next is Hannah McCurley or feel free to hop around to everyone using the links below.
