Favorites from the NEW Catalog – Stamp N’ Hop

Posted on

Yay! Today is the first full day of summer vacation and it has finally warmed up! Good thing to because we are planning a graduation party this weekend at the beach for my twin daughters. They graduated High School and I couldn’t be more proud! Although a cliché, the term, ‘it all flew by so fast’ was all I could think of during the graduation. It’s been an exhausting June so far but such a fun new chapter in their lives.

The new annual catalog is out and I’m in full crafting mode with fun stuff! The catalog is always such an inspiring work of art with so many beautiful stamp sets that it was hard to choose which one to start with, so I chose Magnolia Lane. This gorgeous flower and designer series paper has really won me over.

I made a fancy fold easel card for my buyers club.

I also used this set to make a scrapbook layout and this big bag I CASE’d from Sam Hammond. The tutorial is on her blog HERE.

I used the Hot Air Balloon Punch along with the die cuts in the Magnolia Memory Dies to make the paper pieced Magnolia flower.

Thank you for stopping by my blog during the Stamp ‘N Hop. Up next is Vickie Kello. I can’t wait to see what she has made. Click the arrow to go straight to her blog. Below will be a list of everything I used on my projects today. Please take note that if you do buy this stamp set, the Magnolia flower is very big and you will need either a Clear Block F or a Stamparatus to stamp with it.

Extra Ordinary Blog Hop – GSF

Welcome to an extra edition of the Global Stamping Friends blog hop. I’m here to give you a sneak peek of what I did at OnStage and also show you a stamp set that I think many of you will want to get your hands on. It’s called Daisy Lane and it already has a coordinating punch that I own so I love that already. It will also have another punch to go with it to make gorgeous designs. Have I intrigued you?

I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral and the stems in Mossy Meadow. Then I used my Wink of Stella to blend the inks to make them look colored in and to give it a little sparkle of course!
I’m very sad to say that this Wood Textures DSP is retiring. If it’s something you think you need (of course we all do!) then I suggest getting it as soon as you can because it’s only available while supplies last.
I used a couple other new products. Here’s a new label punch called Timeless Label that I got as a gift for attending CentreStage. I’ve added some Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo pack. I love it!

Here are the make n’ takes we got to make at OnStage. It’s so fun getting to play with a few of the new products and bring the samples home to show you.

The brown card with the nest that says Hugs for you is a card that will be coming out of Shelli’s Paper Pumpkin for the month of May. Isn’t it beautiful?

Don’t you just love that Stampin’ Up! brought out a new stamp set that goes with a punch most of us already own? I hope you were inspired by my card today. The products that you can purchase today are linked down below. The rest will be available on June 4th unless you want to Join Team BFF and buy from the new catalog starting May 1st with a 20% discount! I love the benefits of being a demonstrator!

Thank you so much for joining us on this impromptu blog hop. Next up is Tricia. I can’t wait to see what she’s come up with!

Stamp N’ Hop – Let’s get Girly!

Posted on

Welcome to another round of the Stamp N’ Hop Blog Hop! This month our theme is ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS! I’ve gotta say that girl cards are almost the only thing I make around here. A real challenge for me would be a Manly card. I can’t make one of those to save my life!

When this blog hop goes live I will be up in the air flying to Utah for OnStage. OnStage is Stampin’ Up!’s version of convention where all of us demonstators get together in remote locations around the globe and see and learn all new stuff! I am so excited! I will have lots of fun stuff to share with you when I get back. You can follow along on my Instagram page @bffstampers to see some sneak peeks!

Anyway….back to the blog hop…

My friend asked me to make some invitations for a Surprise Party she was having for her mom’s birthday. She said she likes purples and pinks. Perfectly girly in my opinion 🙂 What do you think?

I printed all the words.

Thank you so much for joining us this month. Next up is Pia Gerhardt. Hop along to everyone to get all the girly inspiration.

Stampin’ Up!’s 30 Year Anniversary

Posted on

As you may have guessed, Stampin’ Up! is celebrating it’s 30th year of being in business. In fact, this week, demonstrators from around the world are all gathering together in Florida to celebrate!  It’s all because one woman never gave up on her dreams.  Her name is Shelli Gardner and she’s the co-founder of Stampin’ Up!  This company started in her home!  Because of her love of papercrafting, I get to make money, set my own hours and do what I love to do which is watch others enjoy it too.

Kylie’s challenge this month was to make a thank you card for Shelli telling her how much we appreciate her ambition and faith in starting this company.  I have so many friends I never would have met if it wasn’t for Stampin’ Up!  So here’s my card I’ll be sending out to Shelli.

I got a little out of my comfort zone on this card.  It has a lot of texture and “mess” as I would call it, but I kept thinking WWSD?  What would Shelli Do!?  She loves texture and she believes, more is better.  Once I got started I couldn’t stop!  I used the stamp set, All Things Thanks because as soon as I decided to make this card the phrase, Thanks for that thing you did was running through my mind.  It’s a perfect sentiment for what I want to tell Shelli.

Tip: You can color Rhinestones with Sharpie markers to make whatever color you need.

If you’d like to check out cards that other demonstrators made for Shelli then follow this link to Kylie’s blog.

The idea for this card came from Mojo Monday Sketches.  You can click on the photo below to play along.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you were inspired to send a thank you card today to someone that has made a difference in your life.

Your BFF,
Jenn

Here’s a list of everything I used on today’s card.
