The new Ice Cream Corner Suite is full of vibrant, exciting colors that make fantastic cards for everyone. I love that it’s not only for birthdays but can also make beautiful thank you cards.

The different patterns from the Designer Series Paper make for some fun cards. What did I tell you about all the colors!

One of a Kind Friendship

Hi Friends! Today I decided to join a couple challenges to get my creative juices flowing. I’ve taken about a week off and I’ve got new stuff to play with but before all that, I’m making this winter-y friendship card. I really love it so I hope you do too!

The inspiration for this card comes from two different challenges. The first one is the TGIF Challenge. It was a winter-y, snow-y challenge. I used my beloved Snowflake Splendor suite.

You can head over to the blog and see all the entries by clicking the image above.

The second challenge that inspired me was a new one to me on Facebook called Creating with the Crafty Medic. I just stumbled upon her page and projects one day and was blown away. This week her challenge is a sketch.

Here’s a close up of the bling because it’s oh so pretty! I have a great friend that I’m mailing this off to. I hope you were inspired by these challenges. Go join along and get crafty!

Your BFF,
Jenn

Colour Combo Blog Hop – Gray Granite, Real Red, Cinnamon Cider

Welcome to December’s Colour Combo Blog Hop. You are visiting Jenn from California in the United States. Our colors this month are Gray Granite, Real Red and Cinnamon Cider. I decided to take those colors and make hot chocolate packet holders. I made a bunch of these last year for a group of church kids and they are so easy and such a hit that I will be making them again this year.

I used the Nothing’s Better Than bundle for the elements and the Playful Alphabet dies to cut the letters. This hot chocolate pouch is so easy to make. I have the tutorial below. I’ve also added a piece to the inside for a sentiment and a place to write a note.

Directions (all measurements are in inches):
Gray Granite cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 1 1/2 and 5 1/2 on the 11 inch side.
Real Red cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/2 x 4 and 1 1/4 x 4 1/4
Whisper White cardstock: 3 3/4 x 5
Heartwarming Hugs dsp: 3 x 3 3/4 and 1 x 4
Whisper White for the Stitched So Sweetly frame

  1. Fold the cs in half and then fold the smaller flap down towards you.
  2. Adhere the dsp to the coordinating layers and adhere to the pouch. Stamp the sentiment onto the piece of whisper white cs and adhere to the biggest real red cs piece.
  3. Stamp the cup inside onto Cinnamon Cider cardstock and attach to a piece of foam adhesive sheet. Cut out the cup from the Love You More Than dies and the YUM! from the Playful alphabet dies.
  4. Stamp the steam onto the Stitched So Sweetly die piece and arrange the cup and letters to your liking. Attach a few In-Color gems to the piece.
  5. Wrap the Whisper White twine around the pouch to hold it closed and tie a bow.
  6. Attach the stitched die to the front using dimensionals. Stuff everything inside 🙂

I hope you will make a few of these to give away in gift bags along with gifts. It’s thoughtful and hot chocolate is very needed!

Stamp N’ Hop – Christmas Treats

Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is all about Christmas of course! You are visiting Jenn from California in the United States. Thank you for dropping by.

I started doing 12 Days of Christmas lives on my FB page and one of the projects I will be creating is this 6 pack nugget holder. It’s a great gift size for those in your office, school friends, teachers, delivery workers, nurses, etc. A fun little treat to say thanks. You can join me Live to catch all the treats and projects I’m doing on my facebook page at BFF Stampers.

I’ve used this Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper which only comes in three colors but coordinates perfectly.

Although it only has three colors, it has 8 different patterns! Along with the ones above it also has holly berries, pine trees, a criss cross-y pattern and the dots you see below.

This little treat holder doesn’t take much paper at all and you could make many of these at a time.

I doubled up the twine before tying it into a bow and attaching it with a glue dot.

Directions (in inches):
8 x 4 Sahara Sand cardstock
2 pieces of DSP cut at 2 7/8 x 7/8
6 pieces of DSP cut at 1 x 3

  1. Score the 8 inch side at 1, 1 1/2, 3, 5, 6 1/2 and 7. Flip the paper over and score at 4.
  2. Score the 4 inch side at 1/2 and 3 1/2.
  3. Snip the sides. See Photo 1.
  4. Fold in the middle and punch a handle using the Classic Label Punch. Then adhere the top and middle back together. See Photo 2.
  5. Fold up the sides and adhere into place.
  6. Snip the side piece diagonally. See Photo 3.
  7. Adhere the 2 7/8 x 7/8 DSP pieces to the sides of the box and wrap and adhere the 1 x 3 DSP pieces to the nuggets.

These nugget holders can be for any event or holiday. Just change up the paper and colors! I hope you got some inspiration to make a few of these and share some love/chocolate with those that need it!
Thank you for joining us today. Up next is Narelle Fasulo. Her projects are always so amazing. Hop along to everyone, leave some love and get all your Christmas inspiration for the holidays!
