On Saturday we had a Stamp Camp and it was so much fun! I love when all of our friends can get together and create. We had a couple first timers this time and it’s exciting to see their reactions to what they can make. We made a cute little pizza box that holds 4 notecards and envelopes.
So I promised on Periscope to share the dimensions of the box. It’s a 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ box. Perfect to fit 3×3 notecards inside to give away or keep for yourself.
The crumb cake piece starts as a 5 1/2 x 10″ piece.
I’ve scored it longwise at 1″ and 4 1/2″.
Then I flipped it and scored it at 1″, 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″ and 9″.
Then cut the lines as in the diagram.
I punched a half circle out for a finger spot to open the box easier.
I used tear and tape to hold the box together. I put the tape on so the tabs would be on the inside of the box and not showing. Also, you want to make sure your lid has the half circle cut out.
Here’s everything from Stamp Camp. Feel free to CASE!
We will be on Periscope later today so keep an eye out for us and don’t forget to like us and follow us everywhere for a chance to win these birthday tags!

Bringing birthdays back? Yes, we are! Well what exactly does that mean you ask? #imbringingbirthdaysback is a new movement that originated with Shannon West a Stampin Up! Training Manager. It’s simply a movement to bring back hand written notes and cards being sent and received via mail! No, not email, Facebook, or text message; good, old fashioned mail. You know that box you go to and usually just take out envelopes that contain bills, advertisements for credit cards and other miscellaneous junk mail – it’s called a mail box! In the “olden days” that mailbox used to be filled with handwritten notes, birthday cards, invitations, Christmas cards and beautiful cards that could bring a little brightness to your day. Well Jenn and I thought this was such a great idea that we wanted to be part of the movement!
We are so excited that Jenn has been making birthday cards every day! We would love to send YOU a card! Email us your name, address and birthday and we WILL send you a birthday card on your special day! You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here is a great “guy card” that Jenn made yesterday! You know ladies, boys have birthdays too!
We look forward to hearing from you!

If you want to make this card here is a list of the Stampin Up! items you will need!
Obsession: n. the domination of ones thoughts or feelings by a persistant idea, IMAGE, or desire. Bow: n. said image.
It’s true! I have become obsessed with the Stampin Up! Bow Builder Punch! I can’t use it enough! I’ve used it with glitter paper, DSP and solids that are embossed! I’ve been playing around with Christmas cards and Birthday cards all day today. These are just two of my little sneak peeks – and they are rough drafts done in a rush before I had to pick the boys up from school.
Jenn and I are getting ready to run our first BFF Stamping Booth selling our handmade cards at the Barnett Elementary School Holidays on December 11. If you want to see the finished product and maybe even purchase a box of Christmas cards or Greeting cards come on over and see us!
If you want to purchase the Bow Builder Punch and have a little fun yourself, here is a supply list that will give you all the items you need to make a really cool Christmas Card! Share your Bow pictures…cause I can’t get enough bows!!
I had a very busy weekend with lots of friends and family over to spend the night. Friday night I had my niece and nephew over and it was so much fun! I miss them a lot and barely see them even though they live in Santee. Isn’t it interesting how far away someone can be even though they live so close? Everyone busy with their own lives, school, church, sports, appointments? I also got to see the new baby Teagan when I dropped the biggun’s off. She’s growing so fast and smiles when you say ‘Cheese’! It’s adorable..and then she bit Alex’s lip when he tried to get a kiss. Hilarious! If you know my son, you know he had it coming. Maybe not from her yet, but karma! Ha!
And I had teenagers coming out the ears this weekend. One of the twins’ friends from out of town came for a few days and we had other teens coming to visit her. But hubby dealt with that because Lisa and I held the Shaker Kit Card Class at her house and it was so much FUN! These cards are so pretty. I think I’ll be making so more of my own shaker cards soon.
So here’s our Mojo Monday entry. I loved this sketch because I absolutely love layers! I’ve been wanting to use this new stamp set Guy Greetings. At least new to me and it was a perfect opportunity to make a birthday card for my Grandpa. Hop on over to the Mojo Monday Blog and try the sketch out for yourself. Don’t forget to post us a pic of your creation! Have fun!
