Paper Pumpkin April 2016

Hi! Hopefully you’ve received your paper pumpkin for this month! I absolutely love it. And this month Stampin’ Up sent us a full size extra stamp set as a celebration for Paper Pumpkin’s 3rd Birthday and last month they sent out their 1 millionth kit! Isn’t that amazing!?

If you don’t know much about Paper Pumpkin then let me tell you what it is. Each month a fully designed project kit arrives at your door with stamps, ink and paper – everything cut and ready to go so you can skip to the fun. You can purchase one month for $19.95 or a monthly subscription and can even skip a month and re-start again! In the past, some kits have come with up to 8 -12 cards to make including envelopes. And my favorite part of all is that you slowly start building up your ink and stamp sets. We offer a folder to keep the stamp sets in and organized with a 6 month subscription. So, if you’d like to know more about Paper Pumpkin and how you can get it sent directly to your door with everything you need then let us know! You can contact us through this link. I’d love for you to be a part of the fun. I’ll be posting some alternative ideas for this month’s kit and I have a surprise, so come back Friday for that post! Until then, happy stamping!

And here are some ideas on what to create with your new stamp set!

Thank you Card Stampin Up Contest

I recently watched Kylie Bertucci on Periscope and she’s so fun and full of energy! She told me (everyone) that she is having a contest to be highlighted on her blog and the top 5 will get to be in an International BLOG HOP!!! I’ve been wanting to get into a blog hop but thought, how could that be possible….we are BRAND NEW and not many people know us. And now this awesome opportunity has come up! So excited!

The contest was for a thank you card using current Stampin Up products. I made this beautiful card for a customer who recently had a party for us. She had 14 people at her party and 4 people signed up for the deal that we are having right now for a 3-month paper pumpkin subscription!!! She is trying to make her own paper pumpkin group which is fun and exciting for us! Here is the card I made for her:

If you’d like to join the contest, go to Kylie Bertucci’s blog and enter your gorgeous creation! Today is the last day to enter.

Good luck!

Pizza Box project

On Saturday we had a Stamp Camp and it was so much fun! I love when all of our friends can get together and create. We had a couple first timers this time and it’s exciting to see their reactions to what they can make. We made a cute little pizza box that holds 4 notecards and envelopes.

So I promised on Periscope to share the dimensions of the box. It’s a 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ box. Perfect to fit 3×3 notecards inside to give away or keep for yourself.

box-with-cards

The crumb cake piece starts as a 5 1/2 x 10″ piece.

I’ve scored it longwise at 1″ and 4 1/2″.

Then I flipped it and scored it at 1″, 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″ and 9″.

box measurements

Then cut the lines as in the diagram.

box cuts

I punched a half circle out for a finger spot to open the box easier.

I used tear and tape to hold the box together. I put the tape on so the tabs would be on the inside of the box and not showing. Also, you want to make sure your lid has the half circle cut out.

Here’s everything from Stamp Camp. Feel free to CASE!

We will be on Periscope later today so keep an eye out for us and don’t forget to like us and follow us everywhere for a chance to win these birthday tags!
