Welcome to another month with us hopping around the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour. You are visiting Jenn Charles @ BFF Stampers. This month our theme is Easter. I love Easter! As a Christian, I believe that Jesus died to give me life. Easter is when we celebrate this FREE gift God has given us. How do you celebrate?
The cards that I’ve made are using the new Blossoming Basket stamp set. This beautiful basket of flowers is perfect for an Easter card. I’ve paired it here with Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.
I’ve used the Pretty Label punch to punch out my sentiment and stick it under.
I “painted” on the ink by smooshing the ink pad and using the ink on the lid with a Wink of Stella as my “paintbrush”. I love the glittery effect that Wink of Stella leaves on everything! Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz were the colors I used. Then using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend, I colored the basket. You need to use the Memento Black Ink Pad while using the alcohol markers or the stamped image will bleed. In this case, I stamped the basket in Crumb Cake itself and wanted it to bleed a little for a more textured look.
Here is more of a close-up of my card. I sponged the pink Pretty Label Punch, the designer series paper and the white focal image cardstock all in Crumb Cake. I used Linen Thread to tie the bow.
At Stamp Camp last night we made this set.
Here is another card with the same idea but using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and So Saffron card Base. I used the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the crumb cake piece on the card and also on the basket. This stamp set and embossing folder are a FREE Sale-A-Bration item you can earn with a $100 order. I also used our Stampin’ Spritzer filled with alcohol and 10 drops of Daffodil Delight Re-inker to change the color of the Shreddie. It comes in Berry Burst, Silver and White. The dots on the background of the card is a stamp from Timeless Textures and the framelit I used to cut the Happy Easter sentiment on the basket is from Bunch of Banners Framelits. And my friend Doris brought me these pretty tulips to class last night. Isn’t she sweet?
Last but not least I wanted to show you a card I made using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and Framelits Dies. I did get this idea off of Pinterest but I can not re-find the card I cased to give credit. So if this was your idea, thank you!
This card uses Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon and Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. The cross is cut from Silver Foil. The sentiment says: Celebrating one of God’s most Remarkable Creations – and the inside says YOU! I want each of you to take this card to heart because it is true! You are Remarkable and made by God and He doesn’t make mistakes! You are perfect in His eyes, just the way you are.

Your projects are beautiful Jenn and how kind for your friend to bring Daffodils! Aren’t they a sure sign spring is coming. Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Thank you and yes, she’s a kind and giving friend. She has many flowers in her garden and is always bringing something for my daughter. I lucked out this time 😉
Very nice set of cards, but love the basket. Great job.
Thank you. It was so simple, just scoring and cutting.
Just lovely! I really like this stamp set. I like the way you used the cross on the Sweet Soire paper.
Thank you! That Sweet Soiree Paper is gorgeous! I’m going to be using it for a stamp a stack later this month also.
