Hi BFF’s! \u00a0Welcome to this month’s Global Friends Bloghop where demonstrators from around the world all participate in a theme and give you ideas to use with all those wonderful stamp sets you buy.<\/p>\n

We’ve been very busy this summer. We haven’t even had time to go to the beach yet. The summer is flying by. The only good part about that is that Christmas is closer. Today’s hop is using a stamp set that is not necessarily for holidays and making it a holiday card. I used two sets to do just that.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This little tree reminded me of the Christmas tree from Charlie Brown. \u00a0I’ve used the branch from the new set Colorful Seasons and the grass and ornament from the stamp set, High Tide. \u00a0The good thing about photopolymer stamps is that you can bend them when you put them on the clear block. \u00a0That’s how I got the tree to curve under the weight of the ornament. \u00a0The sentiment is from the winter set called Flurry of Wishes.<\/p>\n

I did have to do another card for my son. \u00a0Since I had bought the Coffee Cafe’ set, my son has seen a poop in the whipped cream. \u00a0He’s 5 and since we are not very mature around here, I thought I’d make a card for him using it. \u00a0The sentiment is not Stampin’ Up! but I’ve used it for years at my Christmas parties for favors and gifts.<\/p>\n
