{"id":1157,"date":"2018-03-11T19:00:37","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T02:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bffstampers.com\/?p=1157"},"modified":"2018-03-11T19:43:14","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T02:43:14","slug":"remarkably-created-blog-hop-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/?p=1157","title":{"rendered":"RemARKably Created Blog Tour: Easter!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-971 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/teamblogtourincon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"578\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Welcome to another month with us hopping around the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour.\u00a0 You are visiting Jenn Charles @ BFF Stampers.\u00a0 This month our theme is Easter.\u00a0 I love Easter!\u00a0 As a Christian, I believe that Jesus died to give me life.\u00a0 Easter is when we celebrate this FREE gift God has given us.\u00a0 How do you celebrate?<\/p>\n<p>The cards that I&#8217;ve made are using the new Blossoming Basket stamp set.\u00a0 This beautiful basket of flowers is perfect for an Easter card.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve paired it here with Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1216\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Easter-card-pink-stamp-set.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"471\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve used the Pretty Label punch to punch out my sentiment and stick it under.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1215\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Easter-card-pink-closeup.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"418\" height=\"558\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I &#8220;painted&#8221; on the ink by smooshing the ink pad and using the ink on the lid with a Wink of Stella as my &#8220;paintbrush&#8221;.\u00a0 I love the glittery effect that Wink of Stella leaves on everything!\u00a0 Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz were the colors I used.\u00a0 Then using my Crumb Cake Stampin&#8217; Blend, I colored the basket.\u00a0 You need to use the Memento Black Ink Pad while using the alcohol markers or the stamped image will bleed. In this case, I stamped the basket in Crumb Cake itself and wanted it to bleed a little for a more textured look.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1217\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Easter-card-pink.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"441\" height=\"588\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is more of a close-up of my card.\u00a0 I sponged the pink Pretty Label Punch, the designer series paper and the white focal image cardstock all in Crumb Cake.\u00a0 I used Linen Thread to tie the bow.<\/p>\n<p>At Stamp Camp last night we made this set.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1220\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Easter-card-yellow-with-basket.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is another card with the same idea but using Daffodil Delight Stampin&#8217; Blends and So Saffron card Base.\u00a0 I used the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the crumb cake piece on the card and also on the basket.\u00a0 This stamp set and embossing folder are a FREE Sale-A-Bration item you can earn with a $100 order.\u00a0 I also used our Stampin&#8217; Spritzer filled with alcohol and 10 drops of Daffodil Delight Re-inker to change the color of the Shreddie.\u00a0 It comes in Berry Burst, Silver and White.\u00a0 The dots on the background of the card is a stamp from Timeless Textures and the framelit I used to cut the Happy Easter sentiment on the basket is from Bunch of Banners Framelits.\u00a0 And my friend Doris brought me these pretty tulips to class last night. Isn&#8217;t she sweet?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1225\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/tulips.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"553\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least I wanted to show you a card I made using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and Framelits Dies.\u00a0 I did get this idea off of Pinterest but I can not re-find the card I cased to give credit.\u00a0 So if this was your idea, thank you!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1218\" src=\"https:\/\/bffstampers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Easter-card-with-cross.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This card uses Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon and Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.\u00a0 The cross is cut from Silver Foil.\u00a0 The sentiment says: Celebrating one of God&#8217;s most Remarkable Creations &#8211;
