Galentine’s Day is February 13th!

Have you ever celebrated Galentine’s Day? I have to admit that I had heard of it but never celebrated it. Now that I’m married, of course I celebrate Valentine’s Day. Well, let’s be honest, how much can you really celebrate when you celebrate Valentine’s Day with kids every single year!? LOL.

But back to Galentine’s. Stampin’ Up! made the cutest stamp and punch bundle called Hearts & Kisses that is all about our gal pals and I had to make a quick card with it for all my gals to see. I participated in a few challenges while making this card.

I’ve joined the Just Us Girls Word Week Challenge. That means making a project with your interpretation of the word which is “Valentine”. I thought Galentine was totally appropriate.

I also participated in this week’s TGIF color Challenge. This week’s color’s were Smoky Slate, Real Red and Petal Pink which are perfect colors for a Valentine card.

I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add glitter to the lips because Why Not!!

I hope you get a little inspiration to send your gal pals a little love this Valentine’s and know that everyone needs a little reminder that they are loved. <3
