Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for April 2018. This month our theme is Bon Voyage Retiring In-Colors! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Jenn Charles @ BFF Stampers or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
The 2016-2018 In-Colors are Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. Which was your favorite? You still have time to stock up if you haven’t already.
I’m really going to miss these in-colors. They are so easy to match up with other core colors.
The stamp set I used is called Birthday Blooms and it is retiring along with these in-colors so check out the last chance list and see what you have to have before it’s all gone. I stamped it in versamark and heat embossed the flower in white. The sentiment I used is from the stamp set One Big Meaning which is also retiring and the banner is cut from the Number Framelits, which you guessed it, are retiring!
I used Soft Sky as a card base here to match with the Dapper Denim. It is also retiring.
Here I used Calypso Coral with the Peekaboo Peach.
And here I paired Flirty Flamingo with Soft Suede as the card base.

Happy December! December! Already! Where has the year gone?
Welcome to this month’s Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop featuring Festive Celebrations! These ladies never cease to amaze me with their creativity and the projects they come up with every month.
For my project, I’ve come up with a card and tag idea with a coordinating box. I made it less feminine because it will be for my husband’s friend. Coming up with manly ideas is very hard for me. Do you struggle with that?
I coordinated them all using the Colorful Seasons Designer Series Pack. The Christmas tree came from our timeless Lovely as a Tree stamp set. It’s been around forever!
The Happy Christmas banner stamp is from a newer stamp set called Labels to Love. You can find a list of everything I used down below.
These boxes are really easy to make. They are very convenient for gift packaging year round, making them any size you need.
To make this box I used:
Thick Whisper White cardstock – 8×8 scored at 2 inches on all 4 sides.
Designer Series Paper – 6×6 scored at 1 inch on all sides.
Fold all the score lines. You will have 4 square corners on both pieces. Cut one side to the line and adhere it together. I like to use tear & tape so my box won’t dare to fall apart even with heavier items inside.
I CASE’d this card from a card in our Annual Catalog on Page 141 for the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge #156. I love challenging myself to come up with something new while also making it easier by using something already done! Does that make sense! LOL.
I hope you got some inspiration from my card and gift packaging idea today. Thank you for hopping along. Click on the NEXT arrow to check out the talented creations by Marieke Bart. There is a Roll call of everyone hopping today below for your convenience.
Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for November 2017. This month our theme is Holiday Tags! Today I am showing you the gorgeous Be Merry Kit in the holiday catalog. They are beautiful to use as tags for gifts. They come in two different varieties and make a total of 12 rosettes. They have a circle to put on the back that you can write a To and From on for your recipient. They are currently on backorder but will be available tomorrow just in time for FREE SHIPPING cyber Monday!!! These photos do not do them justice. They are glittery and shiny in real life.
I made this gift bag using two 12 x 12 sheets of DSP from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. The colors in the rosettes are Old Olive and Real Red and the Old Olive one matches perfectly with this paper.
The kit is really easy to put together, all you need is a glue gun!
I’m having a class using this kit on December 8th from 7p.m. – 9p.m. at my house. You can order yours on cyber Monday and get FREE SHIPPING and bring it to the class. Please use the hostess code: NP7WAQ7M and I will send you a gift! Or you can order it from me for $25.
Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up! showing you how easy they are to put together.

Hi BFF’s! Welcome to this month’s Global Friends Bloghop where demonstrators from around the world all participate in a theme and give you ideas to use with all those wonderful stamp sets you buy.
We’ve been very busy this summer. We haven’t even had time to go to the beach yet. The summer is flying by. The only good part about that is that Christmas is closer. Today’s hop is using a stamp set that is not necessarily for holidays and making it a holiday card. I used two sets to do just that.
This little tree reminded me of the Christmas tree from Charlie Brown. I’ve used the branch from the new set Colorful Seasons and the grass and ornament from the stamp set, High Tide. The good thing about photopolymer stamps is that you can bend them when you put them on the clear block. That’s how I got the tree to curve under the weight of the ornament. The sentiment is from the winter set called Flurry of Wishes.
I did have to do another card for my son. Since I had bought the Coffee Cafe’ set, my son has seen a poop in the whipped cream. He’s 5 and since we are not very mature around here, I thought I’d make a card for him using it. The sentiment is not Stampin’ Up! but I’ve used it for years at my Christmas parties for favors and gifts.
