RemARKably Created Blog Tour: Easter!

Posted on

Welcome to another month with us hopping around the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour.  You are visiting Jenn Charles @ BFF Stampers.  This month our theme is Easter.  I love Easter!  As a Christian, I believe that Jesus died to give me life.  Easter is when we celebrate this FREE gift God has given us.  How do you celebrate?

The cards that I’ve made are using the new Blossoming Basket stamp set.  This beautiful basket of flowers is perfect for an Easter card.  I’ve paired it here with Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.

I’ve used the Pretty Label punch to punch out my sentiment and stick it under.

I “painted” on the ink by smooshing the ink pad and using the ink on the lid with a Wink of Stella as my “paintbrush”.  I love the glittery effect that Wink of Stella leaves on everything!  Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz were the colors I used.  Then using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend, I colored the basket.  You need to use the Memento Black Ink Pad while using the alcohol markers or the stamped image will bleed. In this case, I stamped the basket in Crumb Cake itself and wanted it to bleed a little for a more textured look.

Here is more of a close-up of my card.  I sponged the pink Pretty Label Punch, the designer series paper and the white focal image cardstock all in Crumb Cake.  I used Linen Thread to tie the bow.

At Stamp Camp last night we made this set.

Here is another card with the same idea but using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and So Saffron card Base.  I used the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the crumb cake piece on the card and also on the basket.  This stamp set and embossing folder are a FREE Sale-A-Bration item you can earn with a $100 order.  I also used our Stampin’ Spritzer filled with alcohol and 10 drops of Daffodil Delight Re-inker to change the color of the Shreddie.  It comes in Berry Burst, Silver and White.  The dots on the background of the card is a stamp from Timeless Textures and the framelit I used to cut the Happy Easter sentiment on the basket is from Bunch of Banners Framelits.  And my friend Doris brought me these pretty tulips to class last night. Isn’t she sweet?

Last but not least I wanted to show you a card I made using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and Framelits Dies.  I did get this idea off of Pinterest but I can not re-find the card I cased to give credit.  So if this was your idea, thank you!

This card uses Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon and Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The cross is cut from Silver Foil.  The sentiment says: Celebrating one of God’s most Remarkable Creations – and the inside says YOU!  I want each of you to take this card to heart because it is true!  You are Remarkable and made by God and He doesn’t make mistakes!  You are perfect in His eyes, just the way you are.

Thanks for hopping with us today!  Below is a full lineup of everyone with their Easter projects.  Remember, you are visiting Jenn Charles with BFF Stampers.  Praying you have a fantastic Easter surrounded by people you love.

Remarkably Creative Blog Hop – Petal Palette Bundle!

Posted on

Hi Friends!

I’m super excited to show you more product from the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  Today you are joining me  on the blog hop through the Occasion Catalog checking out the bundles.

I have chosen my favorite bundle so far (I don’t have them all!) to show you.  It’s called the Petal Passion Suite on pages 22-24. This suite has a stamp set, thinlits, designer series paper, Memories & More cards, embossing folders, embellishments and ribbon!  It has it all!  I know you are going to fall in love with the simple black and white designs like I have.

Here’s the card I’ve come up with today.

Instead of using the Designer Series Paper, I used Memories & More cards.  I stamped on top of the pink one using the stamp set.  I also stamped the flower using Memento Ink and cut it out with the thinlits so that I can color it.  This stamp set AND dsp is perfect for coloring with the Stampin’ Blends.

If you do not have the Stampin’ Blends yet then consider joining my Marker Club.  It’s a fun alternative to buying the whole set at once. Contact me for more details.

However, if you’d like to purchase the whole set ($121.50) then consider joining my team and getting $125 worth of product for only $99 AND during Sale-A-Bration, you can receive 2 FREE stamp sets of your choice (not including SAB items) all with FREE shipping!  From then on, you will get 20% off all your purchases.

Thank you for joining our blog hop today.  Hop along to everyone on the list and check out the amazing products they’ve come up with for more ideas on spending in this new catalog 🙂  Scroll to the bottom to see a product list of what I’ve used today.

Sale-A-Bration Kick Off Blog Hop

Wow Wow Wow!  It’s finally here!  The 2018 Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalogs are FINALLY here!!!  I’m so excited to be a part of this hop with these amazing, talented demonstrators.  We’ve got a fantastic assortment of creativity to share with you.  I’m praying that after you finish hopping through, you will be just as excited as I am about all the wonderfully exclusive things YOU can earn for FREE with a $50 order starting tomorrow!

I’ve got a couple Sale-A-Bration items myself that I was able to get early as a perk of being a demonstrator.  My most favoritest (is that even a word?) of them all is a stamp set called Epic Celebrations.  For those of you that don’t know, I have two teenage daughters in my home.  They always need a card and all of mine are either too flowery or too plain.  Every once in a while they will really like a card.  This new stamp set is perfect for teenage b-day cards.  Or just the occasional, hey, I have to give you a card because my mom said, card. It’s cool and that makes me cool.  HA!

Introducing Epic Celebrations:

Take note of the beautiful colors of that scrapbook paper behind the stamp set.  That is also something you can earn for FREE in the Sale-A-Bration brochure, it’s called the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series paper.

Here’s what I’ve come up with using these 2 products together.

This turquoise glimmer paper is from the Occasions Catalog.  It matches perfectly with Bermuda Bay colored designer series paper.  I colored the converse shoes with the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.  I love these markers!

I hope you fall in love with this stamp set like I did.  Hop along and check out all the fun ideas using the Sale-A-Bration items. Scroll to the bottom for upcoming classes and ways to earn even MORE FREE stuff!

Need a Catalog?  If you do not have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would love to send you a catalog and get you hooked on papercrafting!  Contact me and I’ll send you out the catalog with a surprise!

***Host a party with $250 in sales and you can receive at least $50 in FREE product of your choice!

***Collect orders (or put in your own order) of $100 and join me in a Catalog Hostess Party.  I need 10 friends to host a $1,000 party and you will all receive a share of the Hostess Benefits.
